Here I will show you some cars I have owed before!
The Mitsubishi Colt 1.4 GLX 1980.
This was a car I liked very much!! After buying it on the scrapyard
for little money, I have re-sprayed part of the car after having the rear wheel arch L and R being replaced,
as well as some welding (wich you could stay doing for the rest of the ownership...). I also mounted some
"shortened" springs, wich improved the drivability pretty good ;-)
There are special leatherseats installed out of a Starion Turbo, and something special is the gearbox; there
you could choose between a high- and a low gearing, so you more or less had 8 gears... . Was great fun to drive!!!!
This was the time you found 170 on the german Autobahn quick.... .
The silver VW Golf 1500 1983.
This was also my favourite car! Unfortunately I managed to crash it on a dark and foggy October evening
near the airport Bern in Switzerland..... . Never drive 120 kmh on a narrow, wet and bumpy road when you cannot see
the bends.., but somehow that was the normal way to end for a Golf type 1, unfortunately!
We have mounted the same leather seats out of a Mitsubishi Starion as the Mitsubishi Colt above.
These seats are really the best, superb for longer distances, and till today I have not found such
comfortable seats again... . Also lowered springs (60 mm) as well as shock absorbers has been mounted,
no rear seats, and a Supersprint Group-N exhaust system. Altough it was only a 1500 engine, it was very
quick on the Autobahn, also because of it's 4-speed gearbox. You could drive this thing real fast ;-))
